The Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations was founded 25 years ago to establish and strengthen Messianic Jewish congregations everywhere. Today, we need your financial support to continue planting new congregations; educating our children, youth, adults, and leaders; and unifying Messianic Jewish communities in Israel and around the world. The UMJC serves a movement of Jewish congregations and groups committed to Yeshua the Messiah and connected with Jewish life and identity. We seek to embody the love of Messiah within the Jewish community, and also promote the Jewish identity of Jews who believe in Yeshua. We believe that the gospel builds upon God’s calling of Israel, “for the gifts and calling of God [toward Israel] are irrevocable” (Rom. 11:29). For Christians, giving to the UMJC is an ideal way to express love for Israel and the Jewish people. We advance the good news of Messiah at the same time as we support Jewish values and solidarity. We help Jewish believers in Messiah to continue living as part of the Jewish community, as we see in the Book of Acts. God has called Jews and Gentiles to be a source of blessing to each other. The theme of mutual blessing runs through Scripture from the calling of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3) to Paul’s collection among the Gentile churches for the poor believers in Jerusalem (Romans 15:25-27). This mutual blessing is expressed in a tangible way through the UMJC, as Christians participate with Messianic Jews in service, prayer, and finances in building a Jewish community for Messiah. Helping to establish synagogues for Messiah is biblical. In Luke 7, the Jewish elders come to Yeshua on behalf of a Roman centurion and ask him to heal the centurion’s servant “saying, ‘He is worthy of having you do this for him, for he loves our people, and it is he who built our synagogue for us.’” Show your love for the Jewish people by helping the UMJC to build synagogues for Messiah. The Messianic Jewish community is a bridge between the synagogue and the church. We are working to repair the historical rift between these two groups. In the place of anti-Semitism, misunderstanding, and hostility, we seek to restore respect and mutual blessing. We are working to raise a sense of compassion for the needs of God’s chosen people in Israel, the former Soviet Union, and other parts of the world. Our member congregations are involved in humanitarian aid, outreach, and sending our young people to help Jewish communities in need. Through the UMJC, you extend a compassionate hand of help to the Jewish people. Please Click Here to Help
