"The Basics Of Synagogue Worship" (8:00AM)
An essential class for Messianic Jewish leaders and congregants.
Messianic Judaism is a developing tradition in which Yeshua takes his place at the center of our worship in Jewish space. This course offers an overview of the liturgy of our people and ways that liturgy should function in the sacred space of the synagogue. The course will emphasize key liturgical portions and their use in the synagogue.
RO'I Course #403: part of the UMJC Madrikh licensure track

“Effective Public Speaking” (Homiletics) (8:00AM)
Effective communication is key to the success of a Messianic Jewish leader. In this hands-on course, students will learn and practice the skills necessary to communicate in forms such as the sermon, chavurah Bible study and announcements so that the members of the congregation can be enlightened, informed, motivated and changed week by week.
