Prayer Campaign 2009

Week Two: Prepare the Way for our children and their families, April 16-22 (alt. April 18-24)

Day Eight, beginning sundown, April 16 (alt. April 18)

1. Recite the blessing

 Baruch atah Adonai Elohenu melech ha-olam, asher kid'shanu b'mitzvotav vitzivanu al sefirat ha-Omer.

Blessed are you O Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us by his commandments and commanded us concerning the count of the Omer.

Today is day eight, which is one week and one day, of the omer.

 2. Prayer for the day: Blessing upon our children, and children throught the Messianic Jewish community worldwide.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

3. Put aside a dollar for the Shavuot offering to be shared with the Messianic Jewish community in Israel.
